Peoples across the planet shared their culture freely with one another for millennia.

Where Umar goes wrong is that Hip Hop ain't never been about race, it was always about skills. Yes, we created it, but it was always open to everyone because everyone had a hand in it at some point. Some of the coldest joints laid on 2 inch tape were made by white boys in the very beginning like Man Parrish and Arthur Baker; the white guy responsible for Planet Rock among others.

If you were nice on the mic, you could earn respect regardless of your skin color.

I always laugh at folks who think gate keeping anything is possible and beneficial for the greater good of humanity
