A break might be what u need to miss it again. Keyboards r GOAT tho.

Im curious bout cello but it's notorious 4 bein hard to self teach n I ain't got time for classes right now.

Life is short n if u wanna try a new activity, do it do it do it.

Same here only guitar was my first choice lol
You're probably right, I've had periods where I was bored with playing but it came back in a couple of weeks but this time it's been a few months. I even bought a new guitar around christmas to inspire myself but it didn't do much.

I think everyone gets that @ some point.

It depends on whether it's hobby for entertainment or a hobby that you had goals for. If it's solely for your entertainment, take as long a break as you need before you love it again cuz it shouldn't be a chore.

If it was/is something you're committed to, keep your hand in the bag but take a step back. Maybe set yourself a monthly challenge to cover a new song you like on the guitar, and otherwise leave it alone?
It's purely a hobby for me, just been in competition with myself to see how good I could get.

My train of thought has been this lately:

"I'll most likely be able to play guitar as well as I can now 20 years from now, but I can't say the same about mma"

So I wanna try mma while I'm still a young man.
