I can't figure out how i want this character to die,, and it's the most important part of my short story thus far...

Never mind this is easily the most difficult piece I ever wrote. I kept doubting I could find the right voice.

I've been struggling with tempo, and setting.

It's just been tough. I feel like I'm finally at a point where I can really gain traction..... And for the life of me I can't see how I want this one chick to die.....

It is a very significant death that will establish the entire tone n everything.... But I just can't see it for some reason....

I don't really wanna just make up some shit,,I like to daydream it like I'm watching it happen and write out the details....

And I just can't get this shit fired up

It has to be easy to cover up....

The protagonist of the story is also the antagonist... And this is the moment that it becomes clear....

The chick she kills is a rival to get object of affection. And she discovers her trying to push up on him.

The altercation ends up in the rivals death. That's for certain.

I just can't figure out if she kills her maliciously...

Or the dude does it accidentally and our psycho chick helps him cover it up, while interpreting it as a bonding moment...

That's kinda what I wanna run with, but I'm trying to put it into motion,, and I keep getting nothing..... It's been bugging me for like a month....

I was able to build the setting leading up to it.... But I guess I want this to be almost too descriptive,, and maybe I'm asking too much of myself, cuz I can't see it

idk why but this really resonated with me.

it stuck out to me.

I remember one of my exes kept wrestling with what he wanted to do in life.
he hated his job and really wanted to do something else but couldn't get the ball rolling.

fast forward----

7 years later hes still working at the same place and still miserable as ever.

I dont want that for you @HellCzar

you really can't figure it out unless you actually go and try out the things that interest you...
i would never put a time frame on when you should because you find yourself rushing/getting into things..

I agree with you 100%
however,
if you are 30+ still trying to "figure it out" that sounds like stagnation to me.
that sounds like complacency and a total lack of ambition.

I get it, it may take awhile trying to figure out what you want to do in life but if you aren't actively searching and exploring, you just wasting time and bound to be stuck in the same place for years to come.

RAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY SHIT!!!!!! IT JUST CAME TO ME YOOOOOOOOOOO

I CAN SEE THIS SHIT CLEAR AS FUCK YO!!!!!!!
