Should Certain Superheroes Remain White?

Meanwhile the first X-Men movie had a 70yr old Magneto..... You hate black people bro!!!
And that nigga spent the whole movie talking or locked away in a plastic prison

His biggest feat was this

What if.. black panther was in fact white and not just white… south african white…

There would be outrage lol, I’m cool with certain characters staying whatever color they are. For example superman/batman/hulk etc. For others depends on if casting someone of different color transition to a better film/series etc.

We don’t need a black Superman.

We already got ICON.

And he walked the dog on supes too.

Matter fact y’all need to get up on the Dakotaverse. Put it in your lexicon
That's why I said in my post the Blood Syndicate would be a great to see. They're apart of Dakotaverse they would be great for a animated series

I understand some of the early ones like sam Jackson playing Nick Fury...

Sam is a great actor, a huge name, and it helped push the franchise forward.

But that's not always the case.

Also comics at their hearts are popular bcuz of the stories. There is enough representation in comics that races don't have to be switched for everything.. Especially if making that change isn't reflected in the story.

We don't need a black Superman or Batman. We don't need a black hulk or magneto.... Some of it is just too much...

MCU Fury was based on ultimate Fury whose design was based on Sam. So, Sam just signed up to play himself.

They already have a white Black Panther in marvel who was Tchalla's "brother". They called him White Wolf in the comics and they called Bucky White Wolf in the movies

I’d rather see new black superhero’s or more shine for established black hero’s & villains than Denzel playing Magneto personally.

Yes. There's a plethora of Black superheroes that have a amazing stories that can be told. The new Marvel series coming out called Wonder Man in the comics he was a white dude who used bang Scarlet Witch and Ms Marvel. There's no need to make his character Black. If anything Marvel could've had the same actor play Blue Marvel whom had a way better storyline and he's probably more powerful than Sentry.

I don't have a problem with making side characters Black or whatever color because they're not the main point of the story but to change the main character isn't needed especially in comic book world.

Just explore Black characters that's already out there. Like Icon, Blue Marvel, Protege(Marvel and Image), Dr VooDoo, Frenzy, Night Thrasher(Black Tony Starks Batman mix up), Blood Syndicate and others

I had The New Warriors #1-10 when they dropped back inna day. Night Thrasher was a favorite character from that comic.

Depends. Stan Lee been on record to say that a lot of the characters he created....even the main ones...were actually meant to be black, or another race.

But b/c of the times he was in during that time he created the characters, he was obligated to make them white. The only excuse that the comics can get away wit completely changing the chracters....is the multi-verse angle.

If my memory serves me correctly, I think it was (artist) Jack Kirby ‘s idea to make the Falcon a black superhero.

If the character being a certain race is central to the story then it makes no sense. A Black Magneto wouldnt work because key part of his origin is the Holocaust. A Black Spiderman works because being Black isn't key to being Spiderman but it does add another dimension. Its really not a hard thing to see what would and wouldn't work in this area given the back story of many characters are easily found

This is why the light skinned Sunspot was stupid in The New Mutants 'cause him being a dark skinned Afro-Brazilian and being bullied because of it as a kid was central to his origin.
