Should Certain Superheroes Remain White?

Like Denzel doesn't have to play magnetos.

Magneto is a Jewish character that survived the Holocaust.

Even if he was influenced by Malcolm x with his leadership style, let that man stay Jewish.
The black man is the original Jew

Niggas wanna see a 70 year old blue marvel
His origins start in Jim Crow era. He was basically a Superman type character but the government asked him to wear a helmet and suit to cover him being a Black man. He got into a fight with his best friend who had the same powers the world saw he was Black so they asked him to no longer be a superhero.

Then they had a handler who BM thought was a random chick (white) who loved him watch his every move. He was in love she was on the job the entire time he went into hiding under the sea. Came back to fight the Sentry as a older man.

Said this years ago and niggas was hoes.

Man Mag is a jew who survived the holocaust.......He is a WHITE man. Changing something like that just disrupts his whole origin story. Black Panther is Black character from Wakanda aka Africa. again see what i said about mag. Some, Some charactes stories just make since they way they were made. No need to start changing races for no fucking reason.

I really find it hard to believe you read Cain post about his origin starting in the JIM CROW ERA that said, why should he be a 70 YEAR OLD MAN....in 2020/30's where the marvel universe is somewhat period is be played in

NAH NOPE

Introducing a superhero to the world via movies with him being an old man with a 70 year old playing him who doesn’t know how to play characters well as far as immersing himself doesn’t seem cool

I struggle with this question.

Part of me says yes... They should remain the ethnicity that they are. That being said if you take that advice you wouldn't have some great black superheros like ultimate Spider-Man ( Miles Morales), Ultimate Nick Fury( Samuel L Jackson), John Stewart ( green Lantern), ultimate Electro... This small list is off the top of my head but I'm sure there are more good examples of ones that work.

At the same time I can name so many more that didn't work such as Wally West or some how Falcon smh.

For me the biggest issue was never that they turned a white character black but when I found out my favorite comic book characters were written and drawn by white men. You have these black people being written from a white perspective. That fucked me up. Wakanda for me was a joke.

Seemingly out of no where my older brother introduced me to milestone comics and explained to me the background of McDuffy and his cohorts. The whole background of how Icon, Static Shock and Hardware were black comic book characters drawn and written by a black staff on a black publication was amazing to me.

To me these were genuine black stories that I could relate to and that was everything.

Ultimately I feel it's less about the origin of the character and more about who is telling the story. Why isn't someone like Brian Stelfreeze a name every black boy who reads comics knows? just my 2 cents.
