How many of y'all was in the slower classes at school? 🤔

Sometimes being the hero means saving the villain.
I saw someone post one day the problem with the Internet is that the people we were separated from in school are all on the same Internet.

Like sometimes you getting into back n forth with people completely oblivious that this person was prolly in a special needs class back in the day, and you frustrated that they don't understand something you view as simple.

I went to a pretty strong academic high school, but I wasn't in the AP or IB classes... However I did get an 1130 on the SAT as a junior. I saw no need to take the shit again as many kids were taking it 3 and 4 times just to get over 1000.

How many of y'all were taking honors or were performing at a high academic level in school? Who went to college? What kinda SAT scores were y'all pulling?
 
I did so bad on my math test in I think 10th grade that I had to take classes after school for like 3 months and then the following year due to a legit mixup I was placed in a math class for stupid niggas to the point I went to the guidance counselor and said yo get me outta here I can promise you I’m not supposed to be in the same class as THESE niggas

She said it was too late though

No lie I was trash at math I remember I failed an SOL by two answers. Like needed 400 and got a 397. Was pissed.

I can totally see this.
I was pulling 99's in 10th grade math, but I can see where you struggled.

I'm glad you made it through that though. There is no progress without struggle.

I'm sure a lotta these niggas failed multiple classes in school.

I used to feel bad for niggas in summer school.... But aye, everybody gotta villain origin story.
 
So they made us take a test sophomore year, they specifically said this test would not effect your grade. So i didnt even try. I was like fuck it. It dont matter....

Ended up failing so bad they placed me in a class called "2nd Chance Reading"

It was me, 1of my friends that also didnt try, and like 20 ESL students from Eastern Europe and Africa.

That class was the highlight of my scholastic experience.

Geometry
Philosophy
Creative writing

Those were the only classes I got 99's and 100's in.


Music and gym as well, but those were electives. And kinda a cheat code cuz the I was in the band and played sports... And those classes were essentially for athletes and band members to boost their GPA.

Music theory was pretty tough, but it was still an easy 100.
 
Was in the “smart” class in junior high. In high school did a couple of AP classes and did not have to take a language class in college

My SAT score was trash tho. Was under a 1000. still got accepted to all the colleges I applied to
