How many of y'all was in the slower classes at school? 🤔

I went to a pretty strong academic high school, but I wasn't in the AP or IB classes... However I did get an 1130 on the SAT as a junior. I saw no need to take the shit again as many kids were taking it 3 and 4 times just to get over 1000.

ACT I made a 13 as a sophomore and sat on it. A 13 got me into Southern University.

I think you needed a 12 to get in at the time. Went to take the ACT with some patnas of mines who were SRs that needed to get a certain score.

One of the niggas was cold in basketball, a school was after him hard, but the nigga didn't feel he needed to take the ACT, nigga slept through the shit lol Nigga thought his bball skills was enough apparently on some Ricky from Boyz in the Hood type shit smh

That honors shit just screamed extra homework, I aint need nor want any parts of that.
 
it's always wild how some regions did SAT and some did ACT

i remember when niggaz was frustrated they couldn't get that 1000 and was talking about trying the ACT....shit was rough
 
Did you all have to take Bio or Chemistry in HS? One of the other lol.

Or one them maths, Geometry or Algebra 2 or some shit lol

I always thought the SAT was for mfers who was doing that IVY League shit, or going to them high Blue Blood PWIs.

I felt the ACT was a way for regular niggas who just wanted to get into college.
 
I remember we could take our English 4 over the summer, not sure if that was offered to you all heading into yall SR year, but we could go take the shit over the Summer and practically be done with school.

Physics and working at Burger King on night shift....I'll still be in school lol, I couldn't have made it.
 
Everything came easy to me in school. Was always in AG in elementary then AP in high school. Had the highest GPA of all the black students at my high school (and yes there were more than a few before y’all get to clowning, lol).

Went to college, pledged a fraternity, bitches and partying ensued, graduated college with like a 2.8.

Got my shit together got my MBA with a 3.75 GPA. Took all 4 CPA exams in 6 months, passed all the first time. Something like 60% of people fail the exams and less than 20% pass all 4 the first time.

Man you aint miss nothing, niggas was excited at the notion of doing it, but when it got down to the busy, that shit was boring, even the octopus and finding the ink..

Shit was a dud.

At least for me. I'd rather fillet a fish
 
Not a slow class but I had to meet wit a speech counselor each week back in elementary school. I spoke fast...REAL fast. So fast that my Granddaddy called me Puerto Rican....

Anywhoo...I had to meet with a counselor to teach me how to slow down my speech. Just so people can understand me. It was like I was rushing to say everything on my mind all at once. Til this day I still catch myself doing it from time to time.

Later on in my childhood...I was in a gifted art class in the 6th grade. It was only a handful of us, and I LOVED IT. We got taken on art trips to museums in the city. We got asked to paint a large mural on a grocery store window. It was fun as hell.

I took Natural Science (basically Biology and Earth Science rolled into one), Chemistry, and Physics in high school
For math it was Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus.
