The only logical answer(s) I would accept in a situation like this where the “victim” is not married to the “abuser” and they share no kids or property… She doesn’t even live with him…
….Is the aforementioned scenario of her being a gold-digging dummy.. Or her being developmentally disabled.
Those are really the only legit reasons I can think of right now where a dude who you’re just dating can “force” you to leave your apartment and rape you on multiple occasions.
And you remain with him for years and then, one day you decide to sue him.
Funny enough your attempt at logic is mentioned by women as part of the reason why they often don't speak up. Because they'll be met with attempts at justifying repeated abuse with shit like that. And with that built I bias, its nearly impossible you'd ever actually believe a woman who was abused more than once by the same person even though thats far more the norm than a one off
