WWE WrestleMania 42 (4/18/26 - 4/19/26)

Added to Calendar: 04-18-26, 04-19-26

I’ve seen / heard plenty of ppl call it a classic 🤷🏾‍♂️
I have no problem acknowledging if it got classic reviews out the gate but even looking back at the reviews this morning i stand correct most of them didnt give it a classic rating. I get folks was hyped Roman won and caucht up in the moment lol and it was just great match, just not a classic. It was better then the 2nd one tho!

Sounds like the makings of a good poll for the ABWWF.

Ive been to 3 Manias (31, 39, 42). Roman Main Evented all three of them. Ive been sports entertained every time.

You didnt like that Brock match? That match had so much working against it, people were shitting on Roman but over the course of the match they started getting into him just by sheer willingness to take that ass whooping he was able to win them over.

Plus the cash in with Seth? Man, if that were the only Mania I ever made it to, id have been good. These last 2 have been icing on the cake.

But yeah, when they look back on Roman's Tribal Chief run its going to be pantheon level. From 37 to now, is probably the best 6 year Mania run anyone has ever had. Its such a sustained period, probably only Hogan, Rock, and Taker can even compare.

Cash in with Seth was the only true highlight of the night. Had a Mania party that year and man I still think about how deflated the energy was until we got to Seth cashing in and spinning that shit round his head like a helicopter

Taker and Bray was mid lol I remember the disappointment around that time.

You were there so I get why the show might be a thing for you. Watching on TV... hell nah.

Taker and Bray was mid lol
Yeah, but its the only one we got. And after the last year it was good to see Taker not look punch drunk.

Little did we know that was the start of his bad performance/good performance cycle that'd define his last years. 31 is different for me though, so many good memories since it was my 1st.

I highly recommend all of yall get to 1 if you ever get the chance, its a wrestling holiday.
