I don’t think they would of went out their way to do the whole “KOTR winner chooses who they face” thing just for Oba to choose Roman.

Seth bout to challenge Roman for the title. Oba taking the WWE title off Sami. Does anyone really think Sami lasting more than a month as the champion? Cuz I don’t. Glad he got the win tho but this a transitional champ if I ever saw one.

For sure I know Sami is a transitional champ. Dont think Oba going after Sami. It flies in the face of his character as “The Ruler”

Oba going after Roman and he will lose so be prepared for that. (It wont be clean…this is where Brock comes into play imo)

Its a lot of different directions they could go with Sami

I’d rather Oba beats Roman but Sami winning makes me wonder lol.

The fact that they acknowledging that Sami is the easy target lets me know Oba challenging Roman.

I can see it.

However…

The REAL title is the WWE title. The one that’s on Smackdown - I’m speaking in a sense that the world title has always been associated with WCW. That’s the title Roman was holding prior to losing to Cody. That’s WWE title is the one that’s more coveted.

I think it’s more likely we get an Oba win against Roman if Oba fights Sami, wins the belt, and then Oba faces Roman at Crown Jewel. If you want to turn Crown Jewel into a hit, that’s the play.

Of course, this could depend on whatever may be planned for a Brock appearance at SummerSlam.
