I still disagree. If it was safe and easy for men to somehow get surgery to increase their height then they'd jump on that (I know of the failed surgeries)

Same goes for a full head of a hair or a full beard

People get braces to fix their teeth. People get Lasik to fix their eyesight

If it was safe and easy then them same dudes willing to alter their bodies surgically are suffering from a form of mental illness. No different from niggas outchea gettin' dick surgery done: They're fuckin nuts.

fixing teeth goes beyond cosmetic tho. I have to have some shit done because I have 3 wisdom teeth that are impacted. As a result of letting them go for so long, I gotta get them pulled, then have my teeth re-aligned primarily because I constantly bite the sides of my tongue and my inner cheeks regularly.

Fixing one's eyesight ain't cosmetic. Especially not when you're effectively blind.

NOBODY walking this planet needs a bigger ass, bigger titties, fatter lips, higher cheekbones, and shit like that. Nose jobs can go both ways, with one to correct a problem and the other to change it's appearance 'cause you don't like it. One is necessary, the other is not. Dudes on that hair transplant shit got mental issues as well and anyone fucking with their bones to try to get taller are batshit insane for getting that procedure.

Calling insecurities a mental illness is a bit of a stretch

Had no idea about the dick surgeries but I'm not surprised. I imagine if it was a safe procedure then a lot of men would do that

Fixing teeth does go beyond cosmetic but it does have cosmetic. People get it to have straight teeth because it's more attractive

You don't need to be blind though. I got it and my vision wasn't horrible

Insecurity becomes mental illness when you decide to surgically alter your body because of that insecurity. It's not innately mental illness.
