The Chiappa Rhino has been on my list for a minute and I finally decided to buy one. I still need to get the range this weekend, but this is definitely a cool gun just for a collection.

The 40DS is the perfect medium between a snub and something to big to carry. I'll return after I put rounds through it.

I went to the range today actually. I had previously shot 38 special in a couple other revolvers and knew the recoil would be light, so I picked up some 357 instead. I have a Sig 220 (45 acp) and the recoil from that is greater than the recoil from the Rhino's 357. At least to me, because that Sig straight barks like a junkyard dog.

Considering how decent the 357 recoil is, I'm expecting the 38 special to feel lighter than 9mm probably.

I changed the grip as well. I don't hate the stock walnut grip, but i want to see what this other one is like.
 
.22 revolvers are pretty cheap, but decently made. I honestly never shot a revolver either but won a .357 revolver years ago in a raffle and sold it off. I might buy me a .22 a mess around with it, off the strength of the post in here. LMAO

If you got .22 revolver, go for a .22 WMR joint instead of .22lr. Taurus has a couple of decent .22wmr revolvers out there for kinda cheap.

That was one of the guns I tried to buy that took too long for the 4473 to come back clean. Caught a sweet ass deal on a brand new gen 5 Glock 20 and ended up not getting the shit.

I have half a mind to cop the Hi Point 10mm out of spite.
