I dont use ketchup but growing up its always been in the fridge..it does have a long shelf life so it can stay in the cabinet/pantry after being opened.

If I want hot food then that's what I want, I don't need any condiment bringing down the temp. The only condiment that belongs in the fridge is mustard and since I don't use that nasty stuff it can stay in there. You left Chicago and became something I don't recognize
