OPINION What are your thoughts about designer brands now China has ruined the allure

If you haven’t visited the factory, these people are second hand selling and still marking up with maybe low quality.

Plus China is now outsourcing to Africa and selling to Europe and America.

This is why I moved my manufacturing from China as other companies are doing. Most going to Southeast Asia or Africa.

Just know China don’t care just like these big brands.
There are scammers everywhere. And you have no recourse once scammed in China.

Go see it yourself or just buy a knockoff here and save time.

Uganda is my base and I don’t need to worry about this shit as much. My new charger about the “shake“ the game up.

It’s still fuck this site. I was asked to come speak on this since I have first hand knowledge dealing with China.

Anyway.
The long game will win.
The US has build China for a long time. An enemy of an enemy is not a friend.

There is no need to buy knock off or cheaper luxury brands. Cuz, what’s the point? Are you frugal or trynna stunt?
A cheap birkin is not a flex. like the design and not the name will take you further.

So careful with ordering stuff and it not getting into the country.

The internet cyber crimes division will have a hard time helping you.

Cuz cyber crimes in the US will get a nigga got.

With your biz and manufacturing being in Uganda how much of what you deal with involves China? Dont gotta get too much into details but I find it hard to believe theyre cut out completely. They seem kinda hard to avoid if you tryna scale to a global market

They aren’t cut out completely. It’s kinda hard to do. But because a lot of my shit was stolen and replicated( a dude showed me a product that looked like mine on Amazon)…… I try to do things a bit different. i source from different companies and put it together elsewhere. It’s a waste of money and time to be honest. . But Kenya is a fast becoming a tech hub. I recommend investing there in the future. Companies been moving from China to Vietnam.
I mentioned this a few years back.

Dealing with China is not good. Especially being a black American. But I do get to go to the trade shows to see all the new shit.

And for you @Inori look into the solar window film matched with a dewalt battery. No more solar panels. Shit stores like a week or so of power.

I just don’t like that’s it’s lithium.

whats funny is this popped on my reddit feed and i was exploring. So they got chinese apps you order from by a chinese agent. You have the agent buy from the factories, ship to the agent then the agent to you. I only did liek 1 day of research but people showing designer brand deals they got with pics and everything soo.........
