Actually, you could convince the jury that SJM is probably a highly functional retard who fell in with the wrong crowd during IC's equivalent of the "Attitude" era.

He was probably underaged back then, so he shouldn't have had access to the IC or gay porn in the first place. Did VBulletin have an age checker and Terms and Condition agreement back then?

Overall, one could argue that the IC did not do enough to protect its users from the gayliases. They could have shutdown registration until the problem was fixed. Or, they could have a locked thread listing new users who have not yet been approved and encourage everyone to ignore those accounts until they are proven safe.

If you want money, then go after the bigger entities like the IC, not SJM.

This case is bigger than SJM.

Nah... That nigga made the choice to search Match.com for men and post the findings on the IC.

That nigga made the choice to accuse several men of being the same fat black dude.

That nigga made the choice to sace gay gifs to his computer and then upload them to Photobucket to ensure they could be shared on the IC.

I do believe homie is one of those gayliases, but those screenshots were most likely someone posing as him.

The IC/Internet was weird back then.

Now, all the weirdness has been spread out onto different platforms or into its own dark corner, no longer concentrated on forums like the IC or SOHH (Coli).
