Walmart and 'nem backtracking on self checkout.

At least the ones i been in recently they generally have multiple employees assisting and watching the self checkout and I immediately toss my receipt right there at the register so no I don’t have it nor am I gonna show someone my receipt for some little self checkout items.. now I get it I was walking out with a big TV or something but nope you seen me 4 feet away prior checking out.

If you wanna be sure I paid for my shit then put somebody at a register to take my payment. Your chance was before not after cause now it's mine and I ain't stopping to show you shit..!

The Walmart closest to me gives you the option for no receipt or to email it to you. So you get an emailed receipt and I 'posta pull up the email on my phone? If I choose "no receipt" then what we doin' when I roll outta there with a TV and an InstaPot???

I don't understand why Walmart has people checking all the receipts anyway. People don't go through your bags making sure everything is listed on receipt. They literally take 2 seconds to glance at it. That's not stopping any shoplifting.

The ones here generally check receipts for items you can't bag

But they check receipts at Costco and don't have these issues lol

They legit are counting the number of items on your receipt prior to leaving lol

You can refuse. And the only time I do is when there is a line for that.

Problem is, they are trained to check and aren’t trained that it is not even required to do this. I don’t HAVE to show someone any thing.

Like Costco, you gotta. It’s a membership contract… nothing you can do.

But Walmart, it’s in their policy that we ain’t gotta. They just do it.

Thanks for Walmart +, forgot my sister used that shit. Same day delivery is a game changer. I always hated dealing w/ walmart and all their bs.

A paper was published two days ago showing just how much self-checkout has cost retailers. $100 billie is a whooooole lot, but its their own fault for being so fuckin greedy that they thought they could save money by using machines to replace people and wound up having 50" flat screens walking out the door 'cause it magically became an avocado thanks to self checkout.

The grocery store near by my home. Got rid of cashiers and dumped their money into secret shoppers, security shopping carts that can be locked at anytime, and self check out. Now there’s so much thief cause you got only but so much times to treat decent people like they are going to steal before they don’t come back. There be more secret shoppers there than actual shoppers. All the money went up the street to Publix where they got cashiers and bag boys.
