The Reps are idiots. Ending the subsidies isn't going to hurt the profit margins of the insurance companies. They are going to maintain those profit margins by jacking up costs and cutting people who cost them too much.
So that’s the talking point they are settling on, to try to skip blame for people’s premiums going up, for an issue they created. Blame “greedy healthcare “ or “out of control healthcare”.
At the same time to fix it, they have a concept of a plan and that plan so far is to give everyone money to everyone so we can purchase our own healthcare.
