COMING SOON The Witcher IV (TBA)

CDPR lied to us about Witcher 4 being an original witcher protag when people were asking for Ciri, ended up being a pump fake and they were going with her.

Im glad. They gonna have to explain how she went through the trials and can use potions

I take it I should play Witcher 3 before this?
I don't think its mandatory but I will say this, I picked it up on a whim not knowing anything about the series. It is one of the single greatest gaming experiences I've had. The combat is awesome, the narrative is intriguing and visually, the game is beautiful.

Couldn't find a witcher 3 thread. The game was free so I started it up. Didn't realize how messed up my analogue stick is. I guess the controls are more sensitive then the other games I've played

Trying to get the combat down. Haven't really used the signs or whatever they're called. The little mini card game was annoying lol

Every time I try to play the witcher 3, cause I know it had depth, a good story and a pretty good gaming experience.

Man…I get but so far into the beginning of the game and I can’t shake the feeling.

These mufuckas feel racist.

I know..that’s not some shit in the game and there’s all this other political drama and the witchers themselves are outcast

But it something about these mutafuckas man..they just feel racist.

I can’t shake that shit enough to enjoy the game..lol

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past Expansion DLC Announced, First Details Confirmed

CD Projekt has announced a third expansion to The Witcher 3, called Songs of the Past.

The DLC is due out in 2027, 12 years after the 60 million-selling The Witcher 3 came out in 2015, and 11 years after the second expansion, Blood and Wine, came out in 2016. The Witcher 3's first expansion, Hearts of Stone, was released in October 2015.

In a note to press, CD Projekt said it is co-developing the expansion with Fool’s Theory, a team comprising "industry veterans" who worked on The Witcher 3. More details on Songs of the Past will be released in late summer 2026.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past first details:

  • Songs of the Past is a third expansion coming to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  • It will launch in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC
  • CD Projekt Red is co-developing Songs of the Past with Fool’s Theory
  • Songs of the Past will return players to the role of legendary monster slayer Geralt of Rivia for a brand new adventure when it launches in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The announcement doesn't come as a huge surprise, given rumors about this secret expansion had been doing the rounds online for some time. (One recent report pointed to the possibility of a 'Dune-style' location for the new expansion.) Yesterday, CD Projekt announced an official special anniversary stream for Blood and Wine set for May 28, sparking speculation the studio was ready to confirm the DLC. It's gone ahead and done so the day before.

In a social media post, CD Projekt said that with new content coming to The Witcher 3, it will need to update its system requirements "to ensure smooth performance and compatibility going forward." These requirements will become effective starting from the next update, and you can find all the details here.

"We originally planned to make this big reveal during our REDstreams tomorrow, but let's say we found something we didn't yet expect on RED Launcher," CD Projekt added.

It’s a hugely busy time for CD Projekt. The Witcher 4 production continues, although CD Projekt has cautioned fans not to expect its launch until 2027 at the earliest. The company plans an ambitious six-year roadmap in which it will also launch The Witcher 5 and The Witcher 6.

While further DLC for The Witcher 3 is now confirmed to be in development, CD Projekt has ruled out more DLC for Cyberpunk, suggesting fans will indeed have to wait for Cyberpunk 2 to return to its much-loved dystopian universe. And the wait looks like it's going to be significant; Cyberpunk 2 is further behind The Witcher 4, and CD Projekt co-CEO Michał Nowakowski has suggested Cyberpunk 2 won’t be out until at least 2030.
