OPINION The Wire - A Hindsight Discussion

I only ever watched The Wire years ago and I made it halfway through season 4 and never got around to finishing it.

So I’m doing a rewatch now from the ground up. I totally forgot wallace gets killed in the first season lol

Just started season 3

Throw them thoughts up. I wish i could watch it for the first time again.
Definitely thought Wallace got killed season 2

On the rewatch so far I found the whole Ports / The Greek shit meh. It’s actually more jarring than I remembered. That shift from where was at season 1 to where we went season 2 and how the Barksdale saga became the secondary story. Wasn’t my favorite season then and it’s still not now.

Kima really loves this nigga Bubs

bro gave up that shipment to his FBI homie remember the paint chip bust?

In exchange his FBI homie told him they were under investigation and that’s how they knew to blow town

Nah, that's not really snitching though.

If I remember correctly, dude he was dealing with tried to do him dirty by not paying him what he was supposed to.

Basically they didn't value the Greek's role in allowing them to even be able to get their product shipped in the first place.

All they had to do was pay what they normally do, but they didn't understand their place in the food chain.

Plus, FBI dude was on the Greek's payroll too.........so it's fair game.

I'm nearing the end of Season 3 so I know Stringer's gonna get popped soon
Looking back this nigga is so shady lmao brought the shit onto himself
Taking out Dee behind Avon back
Making moves Avon wouldnt approve of behind his back
Fucking Dee's baby mama behind erybody back and even after Dee was killed

Nigga had the nerve to get irate at Donette cause she told Dee's mom McNulty spoke to her. Talkin bout "Here we are a fuckin year later, everybody forgot the shit and you runnin your mouth" LMAO

Unbelievable guy lol
