Im not completely mad at strickland getting the win, but I am surprised he got the decision.

Absolutely, he had a lot of success with the jab. Got a number of good combos in. Had the best defense on the ground we've seen from someone against khamzat. Even got khamzat on his back nh. But at the end of it, imo it looked like his face had more damage and chimaev was up on significant strikes.

I just have this feeling something was done and ufc knew chimaev wasnt trying to be at 185 anymore and very possibly didn't even make weight as his weigh in was very shady. Entertaining fight though. Betters made a huge payday with how much sean was an underdog.

Van vs the Japanese guy was figjt of the night for me. Van has some really dope boxing and survived the takedown. Im really excited to see him fight pantoja. Flyweight might finally get some love.

Poatan at heavyweight is fucking terrifying. Dudes way big and still has some good speed.

Hopefully he doesn't use up too much energy too soon, because hes never gone 5 rounds as heavy as he is and Gane is a natural heavyweight and has plenty of experience with 5 rounds.

They're both kickboxers too and will hopefully be trading off the entire fight

The more I watch of Rousey v Carano open workouts the more I see neither of these two athletes have evolved as fighters.

Some how Ronda’s boxing has gotten worse.

She can’t throw a straight right for shit.

She moves her entire body to move her head.

She’s trying to box peakaboo style but drops her hands and leaves her chin exposed when throwing a jab.

If Carano can control the distance then she’s should decision her easily.

But if Ronda closes the gap it’s over.

I'll be watching UFC 117 Apex card , that MVP card is trash

Rhonda and Carano shouldnt be no where near that high. Both have been inactive fighters for years and i bet they're going to make more than 90% of that card for a trash fight. Its not even like they have a crazy loyal fanbase like Diaz. No one was begging to see this horseshit
