I got two experiments going on too. I have a dwarf moringa seedling I just put into a pot. Once it matures ill probably make some powder out of the leaves or use them for tea. Im also trying to grow some licorice plants so I can make some tea from the roots.

Growing moringa is doooope... Have you grown it before???

Im thinking about giving corn another try this year, I'll have to grow it outside in the fruit cage though as it grows so damn tall...

Never tried it before! I started it off in a lil plastic cup and transplanted it the other day.

I keep trying to do potatoes as well and they start off so well but then just die out. I just get lil baby potatoes. They so small that I dont find them all so the shit just keeps growing back 😅

Same, problem is I end up walking past everything going 'oh that looks good, oh yeah love to grow that, defo giving that a try' before I know it, I end up driving away like Ive carried a horticultural heist lol

Just transplanted some tomatos from inside to outside. Hope they make it. I got my ziploc on the side filled with some compost from my electric composter. Mixed it in with the rest of the soil. Once the tomatoes catch ima fill in some more soil to top it up

A lil experiment where I tried to companion plant onions, carrots and beets. The carrots took over on the right. Onions doing alright and I think only one beet is hidden in all that mess lol

A loquat tree I grew from seed. Its been a few years but it hasnt produced any fruit yet. Hopefully this or next year

small lil harvest. I only pulled up one of the onions, gonna let the rest stay in the ground for a lil while longer. I only pulled this one up cuz the tops fell over.

A couple small potatoes as well lol. Waiting for the bigger harvest

lol I have no idea fam. Far as im concerned i pulled them out the ground today so them shits are new potatoes regardless 🤣
 
Pulled up some more onions this afternoon, they aren't super big I think cuz I planted them with the carrots. Thought they might do well together from what I read but the onions didn't get as big as I was expecting. Maybe just overcrowded everything. They'll do tho!

Sorted out some of my fruits and veg this weekend...

Im only gonna use my fruit cage and greenhouse this summer, as I didnt get time to put some new soil into the pollytunnel...

Went to the garden centre this morning and they didnt have any grafted tomatoes and cucumbers, as thought I left it too late... So Ive ordered them online, hopefully they dont get damaged in transit!!!

A customer at work gave me the chilli plant but Im not sure it will survive... It will be embarrassing when he asks how its doing and I tell him I killed it lol

Trying to grow runner beans this year... The honeyberry is already fruiting too, not that Ive had to do anything really... The mulberry bush in the corner look like its hanging in there, so hopefully that picks up this year...
