Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says they are set to sell players before European deadline despite not bringing any new stars in
  • Mauricio Pochettino says he is willing to let unhappy Tottenham players leave
  • This is despite Spurs not signing anyone in the summer transfer window
  • The English window closed on August 9, but the European market is still open
A number of players have been linked with an exit from north London, including Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Georges-Kevin N'Koudou and Vincent Janssen.

Pochettino says he is happy to let any players leave who do not want to be at Spurs, even though he has no opportunity to replace them until January.

Speaking at his press conference ahead of their weekend clash with Fulham, Pochettino said: 'Maybe, yes, we are going to see if some players believe that they can achieve their goals in another club. Maybe they are going to move. Different individual things can happen in the next few weeks.

'If some player is not happy because he needs to play or believes he can play more at another team, or needs to change the environment, or needs a new challenge or motivation, I told them that I am open to find the solution.

'It is so clear the rules. It is so clear my message. I promise I am going to fix it if someone is not happy to be here for the next five months until the transfer window opens again. All people here need to feel they can be part of the team, and help the team any time the manager commands.'

England youth international Stephy Mavididi swaps Arsenal for Juventus
  • Stephy Mavididi did not make a single first-team appearance for the Gunners
  • The 20-year-old will now look to make the grade with the Italian champions
  • The England youth international follows Joel Campbell out of the door at Arsenal

'Stephy Mavididi has signed for Juventus on a permanent transfer. The 20-year-old forward will initially join the Italian side's B team,' a short statement on Arsenal's website read.
'Stephy has previously spent time on loan at Preston, and also had two spells at Charlton, where he spent the second half of last season. He is an England youth international having played up to under-20 level.

'We would like to thank Stephy for his contribution to the club and wish him well for the future.'

The England under-20 international scored twice for Charlton in Sky Bet League One last season and follows Joel Campbell out of the door at Arsenal, with the Costa Rica forward having moved to another Italian side, Frosinone, earlier on Friday.

Here are the rest of the episodes for those that are interested in watching but don't have Prime

Watched the first two. Great access as everyone was expecting. I would like to see more of Pep's tactical insight instead of the laundry ladies but i know they are catering to an international non-football audience.

The Premier League or the clubs themselves should be doing more of these all access type docos.

Pep is an insane man. Just absolutely crazy when it comes to tactics and talking to his team. I would be confused af listening to him lol.

The Juve one on Netflix was solid but this one is just a level better cos Amazon have gained experience doing All or Nothing with the NFL teams. I figure if this one becomes a success more PL teams will be open to it.

Arsenal beat Crystal Palace in secret friendly as Unai Emery gets a closer look at Bernd Leno and Lucas Torreira
  • Unai Emery organised a secret friendly the day after defeat by Manchester City
  • Summer signings Bernd Leno and Lucas Torreira both started in the fixture
  • Arsenal overcame Crystal Palace, with the scoreline believed to be 4-0
Insiders described it as an 'old-school' 11-a-side friendly with players wearing bibs and no-one other than the squads and coaching staff invited.

This is understood to be the third 'secret' fixture set up by Emery so far this season with Crawley Town having also faced the Gunners in London.

The Arsenal boss is keen to boost his players' fitness. The XI that started in their 2-0 loss to City were not made to take part.

Emery and Palace boss Roy Hodgson spoke afterwards and have agreed that, if both clubs find themselves in similar situations later this season, they will play again.

I like this idea of doing this....Emery is really trying to push Arsenal forward and employ new methods clearly so he just needs time (and a few transfer windows say, 2-3)

We need Agent Cech to remember his Core Directive this weekend. All this "Passing from the Back" bullshit gives him the perfect cover for his mission. They will never suspect a thing...
