The halftime show is something to fill the dead space in between halves. The SB and bayou classic are the only two football events I can think of that you really not trying to go to the concession stand at halftime.

No one goes to the Superbowl cause of who's performing at halftime. Or rather an overwhelming majority don't go for that reason. It's just a bonus depending on the act.

You can't compare Kendrick to usher cause well.. Usher is a dancer, dude can legit skate, and it's a performer. The way people are talking you would think Kendrick mailed it in and looked like dipset did vs lox in that it looked like he just rehearsed the night before.

For the 5th time, if my "hits" are going to only get me 10¢ on the dollar for every stream, I'm not going to just gravitate to playing those when I just dropped a new project and I'm about to go on tour and I'm getting 80¢ on the dollar for those songs.

AND AND AND... It's not like the songs he picked were ass. Luther, TV off, peekaboo are dope as tracks. Mans had choreography with the dancers and everything. Niggas acting like he just held the mic towards the crowd. I still get people saying they just didn't get the performance. Cool.

But people are legit calling this the worst SB performance ever and I just don't understand that line of thinking at all. That's why I said if you want to be entertained, just go to their concerts if you feel certain songs are for certain places not named the Superbowl.

I'm not in the camp trying to say it's one of the worst ever. I just don't think it hit like a SB halftime show should. You said you can't compare him to Usher because Usher's a performer. Then like I said from jump... maybe he wasn't a good choice. He's below the usual level of performer, and isn't doing as many huge crossover records/mega hits.

Haha whatever Chris Brown hate you may have aside, ya he's a hell of an entertainer. Guy can sing and dance his ass off.



But you don't have to be able to do all that. The Weeknd's show felt like a SB halftime level performance.
 
Gimme a Hug should have been the 1st song for the record imo

Feel like it kinda sets the tempo and context for the album.

And it's clear Aubrey understands or has clarity on what he brings to the music industry, regardless if you with it or not.

And alot ppl want this type of rap/music. So he not gonna lose or get eliminated off the fact the music he put out a large quantity of ppl want and like.

And I think it's dope 21still in his corner. Scorpios be feeling lonely and do need at least one mf to ride for them.

But this shit for the ig models and kids who just like Drake just cause.
