Yeah this was great. Mostly adapting classic work into modern times doesn't work but they pulled this off. I do hope they do an anthology too. I loved this.

My favorite Edgar Allan Poe poems/stories are The Tell-Tale Heart,The Pit and the Pendulum and The Cask of Amontillado. I couldnt remember if i ever read
The Fall of the House of Usher. Filled with a lot of acting talent. I like the way the show sets up multiple mysteries.
I like how the show visually honors Poe not only with the darkness that surrounds the characters in scenes but with nods to some of his stories/poems Nice haunting imagery
There is an excess of filler before getting to the good stuff though.So grateful they provided a scene that has also been in some very popular series over the years......classic Poe

I remember reading the Mask of the Red Death, the Telltale Heart, and the Raven in school. I don't remember if I read this one in school or on my own. All Poe's shit is kinda crazy. I believe the running theory is that he was high when he came up with most of this shit.
