In a move reminiscent of his work alongside Richard Linklater on Netflix’s Hit Man, Powell is writing the script with Apatow, continuing to cement his reputation as the rare A-list star with this kind of skill set. The project, about a country western star in free fall, is being fast-tracked at Uni, with Powell set to star and Apatow directing.

I used to be a huge fan of Apatows films, but he started losing me when he did the movie with Schumer, went back to stand up comedy and got obnoxious with his politics.

I kind of liked King of Staten Island he did with Pete Davidson, but his more recent stuff just doesn't hit as well as the days of 40 year old virgin, knocked up, superman and others. Apatow was on a roll there for a solid decade. Plus all the stuff he was producing like anchorman, Talladega nights, step brothers, walk hard, etc. Classics.

I say all that to say this:

And I dont mean to make it sound like im anti trans or against EVERYTHING that happened with me too, but Judd would just take it to another level and talk Hella shit and be super radical about it for a period of time. Haven't followed him for awhile now

Wonder who hes related too because dude seemingly came out of nowhere and is getting every opportunity handed to him based off what I thought was a very lackluster performance in a lackluster movie
