Fam doesn't flow off my tongue. I only type it.
Already is almost natural out here in Houston, so it flows.

Just like son flows for New Orleans folk and East Coast niggas.
We also say 'man or mayne' in Houston and to hear someone else say it, that's not from Houston, it doesn't sound right.
 
Where I'm from we say cuz meaning himie, family or somebody. In the south that was never gang talk that was just everyday slang. On the west it's Crip gang talk.

Southern niggas damn near be speaking patois if you don't listen hard enough
