Let’s put all of this in perspective, by looking at this run vs the first SB title run:

The 2017-18 SB Champion Eagles:
13-3 season
Played all playoffs at home
Had a close call in the Divisional Round
DOMINATED in the NFC Championship Game
Played a QB in the Bowl who is considered to be the Greatest of his Era - if not, EVER (Brady)
The Eagle opponent had won the previous SB (51) in OT
The Eagle QB had a great game, throwing multiple TDs and scoring one himself. (Caught the Philly Special)
QB won the SB MVP
Made ALL of America happy and took down the League’s most hated team whom everyone thought was unbeatable
Got REVENGE for a previous SB loss to that team, against the same QB (SB 39 - Brady)

The 2024-25 SB Champion Eagles:
14-3 season
Played all playoffs at home
Had a close call in the Divisional Round
DOMINATED in the NFC Championship Game
Played a QB in the Bowl who is considered to be the Greatest of his Era - if not, EVER (Mahomes)
The Eagle opponent had won the previous SB (58) in OT
The Eagle QB had a great game, throwing multiple TDs and scoring one himself. (Ran the Philly Bulldozer)
QB won the SB MVP
Made ALL of America happy and took down the League’s most hated team whom everyone thought was unbeatable
Got REVENGE for a previous SB loss to that team, against the same QB (SB 57 - Mahomes)

I’m convinced Football Lightning is Midnight Green, cause it definitely struck twice!

When was the last time a played 3 straight playoff games at HOME 🤔

When the Eagles host the Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field in Sunday’s NFC championship game, it will be Philadelphia’s third consecutive home game this postseason—a feat that has been accomplished only one other time in NFL history.

This wasn’t even possible until 2020, when the NFL playoffs expanded from 12 to 14 teams, and No. 2 seeds began playing on wild-card weekend. Before then, winners of each conference’s wild-card games automatically played on the road in the divisional round, against the two teams that secured first-round byes.

The Chiefs are the only other team to do so, when they were a two-seed in 2021, and played three games at Arrowhead Stadium.
