Netflix Stranger Things

I like these episodes ok, but they were definitely filler. Will coming out like that was so unnecessary and pretentious. I know this takes place in the 80’s where the shit was still taboo, but we’re watching this in 2025. Nobody cares enough to see a 5-minute soliloquy about him coming out.

And their light bulb moments were such a reach. Lucas watching popcorn pop led him to Frankenstein a demogorgon?

And that long ass scene with Nancy and ol’ boy breaking up with each other while the world is melting around them. I get it, but damn.

And that long ass talk Max had with Holly, smh. And Max basically being like good luck to a 12 year old, lol.

And the mom blowing up the demo dogs like that? Seemed like a stretch that her plan would even work.

I could go on and on. They better land this finale or they’re going to be criticized like Game of Thrones.

I thought Will was going to tell us something that was super important to the upside down story and then he tells me some shit that I’ve known since at least season two

I was surprised that nobody was like “ nigga we been knew that” but it was the 80s

In the back of my mind, I was kind of thinking “what if he just told them he was gay?” and then he did that

I like the way they are reframing what we know about the upside down and explaining some things that were questions from other seasons.

These last few episodes definitely have been movie quality.

I doubt Hopper makes it out of this alive . He is going to end up apocalypsing this thing.

Vickie had me dying, thinking that old girl was on drugs .

Hawkins laboratory covered with skeet.

Nancy is hard-core. She was smoking Niggas.

It is funny how similar to Stranger Things that welcome to Derry is and the original plot to welcome to Derry was even more like what’s going on in Stranger Things

but both shows still have the military trying to Weaponize supernatural things to fight the Russians

I think that Steve is safe

I know she couldn’t really help Holly , but she was like “ sucks for you” but she actually was right and at least got her back in her body.

Nancy has been with the shits since season 2 but it was wild seeing that.

Her mother was an MVP too.

To me, this explains a question I always had which is why does it seem like the upside down is always trying to make these rifts and cracks and passage ways and not just breaking through, but as you see with Holly, if you breakthrough at the wrong point, you will just come crashing down to earth.

That wasnt the Upside Down she broke through. That was the Abyss
 
The Nancy and Jonathan dialogue was unnecessary. They never explained how the melting building all of a sudden hardened like that. Couldn’t be symbolic of their relationship bc the soldiers died in the hardened goop stuff… so they were spilling their hearts out to one another too??

Will’s “big gay secret” was his weakness, it’s why Vecna could control him first. But it was dumb regardless.

Could’ve done his coming out in S4, leading to his stronger character development that we’ve seen in EP4 and 6. Would’ve made more sense imo.

The Max monologue was unnecessary…never been more mad in my life at how a tv show drags a scene. NGL, I wanted Max to come right back and get bodied after all that.

You're right but she still has to go through the upside down to get to Hawkins because as they explained,The Upside down is a wormhole/ bridge.

She didn't go straight from the abyss ,she fell through the Upside Down
