What you said is not accurate since they had Will acting funny ever since he came back and never touched on it again until now and suddenly he has powers LOL? That makes zero sense and Vecna did not et mentioned until last season so you can tell that they are just making it up on the fly. They finally circled back to his time in the other world, because they knew that had to say something about it. Him having those powers makes no sense as 11 and the others were experimented on to get them and it took 11 a long time to learn how to use them. Y'all can admit the flaws in the writing.

Actually no....

Henry/Vecna was 001

011 and the rest of the kids got their powers though experiments with his blood... They essentially all got their powers from him.

Which is why he's kidnapping kids and feeding them his bio shit to see who he can also give powers...

His plan was to use them as vessels and commented that they were weak... And broke easy


Will resisted and woke up his powers.

But both Will and 011 got their powers from Vecna.

011 when he was still Henry at the facility
Will in the upside down as he was taken.

Watch some you tube videos....a lotta his back story was done in the Broadway play. They not making shit up on the fly... The story was always supposed to go this way

My guy are you watching the show or not? Will was fucking raped by some weird mind demon of course he was acting funny , he has never shown any ill will towards his friends and they all literally fought hell to save them there is absolutely no reason for him to turn by himself , if you paid attention vecna used him as a test dummy he’s trying to create more versions of him of your paying attention, him having powers are random at all it’s literally a developed plot point unlike the bs you’re trying to push. And will doesn’t have 11 powers he’s just tapping into vecna to replicate it

Yes, they definitely been hinting at his connection with the upside down and in season two it was straight up. He was a spy for the upside down or the mind flayer.
 
they didn’t know they were getting a season two when they ended season 1 with Will throwing up a baby monster .I assume that if the show wouldn’t have blown up we would’ve been left to assume that Will was affected in some long term or this would have been season 2 if they were still shaky but the show blew up
