I wasn’t a huge fan of season 5 but I felt the finale was strong. I liked how they closed it (kinda disappointed no one significant died, but whatever)
 
El beat the mind flayer the same way she had been practicing in ep 1 of the season

That is all I needed to know since I will not be watching it. I refuse to give them my viewership. I will keep enjoying all the criticism about it on YouTube though, just like I did The Last Jedi. Only good thing to come from this season.

Fallout episode 3 is out so I will watch that instead.
 
I didn’t hate it but I feel like it was too easy to take out the mind flayer and Vecna and then it was a whole hour of wrapping shit up. I don’t give af about Hop and Joyce getting engaged. Dustin speech at the graduation was funny though. I feel it was good but compared the the masterpiece we got with Welcome to Derry this just wasn’t as good.

Didnt play our how I thought but they definitely left it open for a return in the future with the ambiguous ending for el. They can leave it at that and you can either believe el is alive or Mike was just coping and made that up. Also hopper referenced moving to Montauk for work. Montauk is actually the location where there is a long standing conspiracy theory of a lab in the 80s doing all kinds experiments on people and the show is actually inspired by it

so they can easily make that pivot in 10 years or so when everyone is older and have el and the rest of them come back into the picture in a new backdrop of Montauk and do another 1-2 season run. I doubt it actually happens but I see how the duffer bros and netflix laid some easy groundwork. Would've been foolish not to.

It was easier to kill Vecna and the Mind Flayer then it was the demogorgrs and demo gorge dogs.

come on man obviously 11 is alive, why would they include all that if she wasn't? Every main character in this show has plot armor and its not trying to have a sad ending. The only reason to even bring back 8 was to use her powers to help wrap everything up nicely because she was hated by almost everyone when she was introduced in s2, thats why they never mentioned her again until the end.

The thing is that Mike’s story is just a story

For all purposes she’s dead or gone but yes the door is open

That's cuz they leveled up killing so many.... demigorgons like level 59. Vecna & mind flayer like 75

Them Niggaz was on 85 by start of the season, 99 when will leveled up and Kali joined the team...

Nancy walk'em down Wheeler definitely did a lotta the heavy lifting...I think she had the infinite ammo glitch in the finale
