Is it for real? I been contemplating trying to air fry a steak, but to me nothing beats charcoal grilling or a good sear on a cast iron.
 
I do air fryer at 400 for 3 mins on each side

Then finish in HOT cast iron skillet, 30 secs each side
I was gonna ask if you sear it. But 30 secs is too short of a time for me. I generally just cast iron it all the way through. Nothing past medium - medium well.

Is that a ribeye? Looks like it. Generally the cut i usually buy.

More than 30 secs cooks the inside more than I’d like. That’s why I just get the skillet as hot as I can.

Yeah it’s a ribeye.

I used to use a cast iron the whole way through but it generates too much smoke in the house for my liking.
