Colorado quarterback Dominiq Ponder had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit for driving under the influence when he died in a single-car crash near Boulder on March 1.
So the Republican voters choose what they want as they are supposed to be able to do in a democracy and Republican politicians try to take the power to choose away from the voters. If Republican voters don't learn anything from this, I don't know what to say. By the end of the Trump term, the majority of people should be of the mind that we should never vote for Republicans ever again. Establishment Dems should be the new right wing. Any party farther right than that should never have a shot at winning anything again.
