Random Movie/TV Show News

If your imax isn't imax with laser or imax 70mm then you're paying extra for a fake imax anyway lol
Yeah. Theres only one 70mm and one laser here. I typically only go to the theater that has the 70mm screen to watch movies which is about a 25-30 minute drive from me even tho there's 3 different theaters I can drive to within 10.

I rarely go to the movies tho. Its gotta be a pretty big film for me to not wait until it hits digital. Last one I went to see was dune 2.

I wonder why no one has made
a spinoff of 'The Last Dragon' ,with focus on Shonuff's character? I would definitely be invested

They don't promote unless its a mega hit and they don't quality control. They just let show runners and film directors for that matter, do whatever they want and run off with the bag. Ive seen multiple stories about them paying out larger than normal sums of money before they even have half a finished product on some honor system shit. Its a common thread why a lot of their films start out strong and mostly end as clusterfucks in the later acts. They need to find a middle ground between giving show runners/directors freedom to do their thing and keeping their foot on their neck to make sure the finished product is great.

People went to streaming to binge and get away from commercials. They want to watch on their own time. That was the whole point.

One Piece, one of Netflix’s most-watched shows of 2023, lost more than 30% of its audience for the second season. Season two of Beef suffered a drop of more than 70%. The Night Agent shed 50% of its audience for the second season and another 35% for its third season. These figures are all through the first four weeks of a show’s release and come straight from Netflix.
I stopped watching Night Agent and didn't watch season 2 of One Piece
Adding insult to injury, the latest season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of Netflix’s most-watched titles in 2024, suffered a drop of more than 60% over week one. That doesn’t bode well for the rest of the month.
I started Avatar but then started something else

Also Netflix cancels shows so quickly now

I didn't care for him using her as basically an extra. There are better criticisms of his work lol

Like if you watch the Yellowstone shows lol he was putting the women through some of the craziest hardships just because

Yet that's how it was in the beginning
