It does need to be said. I actually do like the album now. It has two or three terrible songs on it, but it has some gems too and Rae was lyrically on point. It's not a terrible album, but it had no shot of being seen as good, following OB4CL.

Double Up sounds like an athlete playing his last season and not having his heart in it no more, while being frustrated w the game. That album was no where near what Harlem World was. An argument could be made, that Harlem World was one of the best debut albums in rap history and definitely the best album ever made by a Harlem rapper. Is probably the best bad boy album not made by Biggie.
And if anyone says No Way Out was better, that was basically a Mase album, as a bunch of those songs, came from Mase’s demo tape.
