PWInsiderElite.com previously reported that current TNA Champion Mike Santana's contract with the promotion is slated to expire this summer.

Currently, Santana's TNA deal runs through mid-July, so he is about a month away from the expiration of his contract.

There's been WWE interest in Santana in the past.

Nic Nemeth will challenge Santana at the 6/28 Slammiversary PPV in Boston.

TNA and Ohio Valley Wrestling are circling a working relationship, PWInsider.com can confirm.

We are told the two sides are working towards an agreement that would OVW become what would be essentially a developmental system for TNA. That agreement is set to be signed very soon.

TNA President Carlos Silva has been in attendance at a number of OVW events, according to sources within OVW. He was expected at the promotion's recent 1400th TV episode celebration but was not in attendance.

Why is Kali suddenly taggin with anyone??? She hasn’t had much tv time on nxt since beating Jaida & now this. They stalling her out they don’t want her to upstage the golden goose Kendal

I mean I'm not mad at it. Both showing out on a "bigger" stage means more exposure for them. So that way WHEN they do get called up...fans outside the NXT bubble are familiar with them.

It’s not a bigger stage / main roster experience if hardly anyone sees it

Yeah negro cuz I don't go in panic mode at EVERY lil slight change. It is a bigger stage compared to NXT and folks do see it. YOU don't watch it. Kali will be alright man. Calm down.

Just for reps probably I dont see them being an official team. It was from a week or two ago and Tuesday made it seem like they might be running with Layla as a face now

I do feel like they do be holding Kali back cause of Kendall cus if they give Kali the same minutes/opportunities she gone be over more with the crowd cause shes better on the mic + and good in ring. She literally improves the more they book her so when they keeping her off tv it makes you wonder

None of this addresses the fact shes done nothing on NXT for the last 3 weeks. She’s one of their top 2 prospects in the company!

And like Dubbz said...this could all be about getting reps. Hell...they got KAYLA involved and she JUST got to NXT 15mins ago. Both went up against Bayley and Lyra. Bayley by far the more established vet. If Kayla is up in the mix...then must see the potential in her as well.

If they got them doin matches on Main Event as start just to see how they fair in a semi-larger setting...I'm all for it. Let's see who can handle the brighter lights. Let them work wit the vets from the main roster.

If management sees Kali the same way as the rest of us do...then I wouldn't be surprised if she hits that main b4 going thru an extended period in NXT. Sometimes the potential/star power outweighs goin thru that NXT "formality".

Besides...let Kendall get that title 1st. That way if Kali is still on NXT...it makes it that much more sweeter when she takes it off her and gets her getback.
