She definitely was conscious for bits and pieces if not all of it, hence her screaming and jumping off the bed. I think real Nikki would be fighting for control for much of the interactions which is why weird things like walking in reverse and other stuff would happen. And being able to have a quiet conversation asking to be killed when the wish Nikki was asleep. She was able to tell bear that it wasnt her he was actually with and bear got all butt hurt asking "is being with me really that bad?"

When bear made the call to the willow wish people they asked him if he wanted to talk to Nikki. You could then hear her screaming and surrounded by demons or something. I think when she was in that purgatory type place when the wish Nikki was in control, she was probably able to watch what wish Nikki was doing.

My favorite part is when Bear visited the store he bought the Willow Wish from and the dude first acted like he didn't know what he was talking about lol. You could tell the employees there are on some other level, because they were way too calm about everything, even humorous. Bear and Nikki's life is over and its just another day in customer service for them lol.

You'll try to believe they love you even though everyone is saying itz wrong until you commit that and release them.. then they realize what they did and just sit there crying about it. But the damage is done and people died.

So many brilliant ways this movie spoke on. This is a good one.


Another is the state of control, not seeing your partner only based on what you want them to be even though they dont have autonomy or control over themselves and is suffering you still keep them around and just because you are drunk on the power of it.

You dont really care how they feel, you only care how you feel. In the end they become prisoners to the relationship and you continue to watch them fall apart just because you can and they are weak or unable to break away.
