Now that Wrestlemania is over….

I'm rewatching NWA-TNA weekly. I'm on episode two. Mike Tenay and Don West truly make this show feel as electric as the action is; they compliment the idea of T N A in a way I don't think anyone else could have.

I'm on episode two. AJ just won the x-division title in a round robin tournament. Jerry Lynn really was that dude back in the day.

The cage dancers; boy oh boy. Would that fly today? Maybe not them being in cages. TNA should bring it back for just one night.

The Wall becoming Malice in TNA is one of my favorite character changes. Shame he died during this run with TNA.

That’s dope. One day, I wanna do the same.

Over the last 2 weeks, I been checking out MLW Fusion on YouTube. They got Danny McBride sponsoring it via his tequila company. I had no idea he was involved and I’m seeing that he’s involved with the creative too. I wanna see if they find their footing and how they handle their booking, particularly with Killer Kross & Scarlett.

I also wanna check out NWA Power. For some reason, I think Billy Corgan is capable of cookin up somethin dope. I’m willing to give it an honest watch and see how it progresses.

Ive been thinking TNA should go back to the 6 sided ring, I dont know if that would mess up their role as a WWE feeder system, but they could use something to differentiate themselves.
 
Do we have a misc/random wrestling thread? I don't want to make a bunch of threads for random ideas if they can go in one.

Anyway, I'm on episode 5 of TNA weekly. K Krush did his first promo to become the Truth. After he beat Norman Smiley in a singles match, he starts whipping him with his belt, then starts choking him out with the belt as he's hanging out of the ring ropes; it looks vicious.

Now the funny part 🤣

Norman's wife comes running from the back and commentary initially is like "who the hell is this lady!"...mind you she's a white lady on the heavier side (maybe 300lbs).

She starts screaming at Truth to let Norman go, then swings on him...this dude Truth let Norman go and started choking out the wife! 🤣

Not everyone, there were a number of talent who spoke in favor of it, including main event guys like Angle and Joe and Styles (though he flip flopped about it).

My thinking is that an updated ring could utilize the same kind of engineering that WWE undertook when they redid their ring to make it safer.

Yeah I’m sure they could re-engineer something that’s a lot more comfortable.
