NBA Offseason Thread

If lebron opts out the lakers or sixers are his only options.If he opts in he can be traded to a team he chooses(ntc)

but that would require that team(that doesnt have the cap space) to send back 35 mil in salary picks etc and the cavs have a treasure trove of ASSets that nobody wants + they're capped out so if aint expirings or some combo young players/future picks what reason should they do that?

cavs reporter said he's opting out & every sign saying he's going to l.a. it's a matter of who he brings with him
 
Almost 100% sure that LeBron isn't coming to Houston but I need that fuck nigga to go ahead and opt out on Friday so I can sleep peacefully

How you a rockets fan and don’t want lebron on your team?

I understand the attention whoring and the extra stuff that comes with it, but that’s a small price to pay to compete for championships

If bron goes west & gets pg or Kawhi or any good player(s) to come to the Lakers what you think gonna happen to the rockets chances? They’ll plummet like the Dow Jones after 9-11

Why would the T wolves trade jimmy to Houston? And for what?

Bron not leaving just to go play in La with PG only it’s not enough to get out the West he doesn’t have to time to take a year off it’s finals or bust with him so unless the lakers got somebody else coming with them two it ain’t happening

I just hate the idea of giving up Fultz AND Dario for a one-year rental.

Fuck Kawhi if that’s the price. I’d rather throw the house at Bron then give up two piece of the future.

Ben and Joel are already the core and the truth. Dario is a great third option, and would be an EXCELLENT fourth option. Fultz will get there, but management bullshittin. I agree that Tatum should’ve been the right move, but there’s no going back from that.

They need to keep this core intact. Go after Bron or PG, and keep JJ/Marco around for a 2 year, $30-32M deal.

I don't fuck with him really that simple, if he were to win a championship in Houston it just be a LeBron championship that the Rockets just happen to be apart of

I don't think he's a good fit especially since it pretty much means gutting the team to get him here and he doesn't guarantee a championship anyway......then what? He dips and leaves the team in complete disarray trying to pick up the pieces

I know Harden is a very flawed player, I get it, but at the same time he came to Houston dolo(I know he was traded) and put the franchise on his back for the past 6 years and has put in a lot of work

Melo, Bosh, LeBron, KD ect turned down the Rockets for years in free agency and now all of sudden LeBron wants to ride the wave and take all the credit?

I see alot of parallels in the careers of James Harden and Dirk and as much as I hate the Mavs Dirk put together one of the GOAT post season runs in any sport and after all the ups and downs and criticism he was able to shut everyone up and nobody can take that from him

As far as Jimmy Butler that's a pipe dream but not completely unrealistic, If he doesn't want to resign long term in Minnesota I think we could work something out if they don't want to lose him for nothing unless he wants to go somewhere else that could offer a better package. (Eric Gordon and Nene work salary wise but would still need a pick probably)

Do you really want jimmy. He might be broken down physically after playing for team wrecker thibs
 


this would be a good look, only thing is bradley stays injured he has too many tissue/muscle injuries(hamstrings,groin,sports hernia,calf)

if teams like memphis/ lakers get back in the playoffs or if the nuggets can finally stop being 9 seeds

Somebody(pelicans or t wolves) in trouble.
