I hear Kawhis peoples want him in NY
Asset wise Celtics and Sixers at the topPhilly got a better package than the Lakers imo, we could make the best offer
I would care less about where Kawhi wants to go if I’m the Spurs. Get the best trade offers possible
but isnt caring where he goes tied to the best offer possible?
or are you saying there should be no teams off the table when considering this deal. Take whoever gives the best deal?
So if Kawhi goes to LA what does that mean for PG? Don't they have to get that Deng contract off the books to bring in all 3?
Guess they would have to sign Bron and PG then trade for Kawhi but then they would have to convince the Spurs to eat the Dengs contract.

10 + Markell + Covington vs Ingram + Kuzma + future 1st. I'm taking the Lakers package nh. Those are maximum offers btw don't think the Spurs get that much unless they are guaranteed he's signing an extension
Covington and/or Saric, Fultz has the most appeal to me and a 10th pick is more valuable than a 2020 or later pick playing your cards hoping Bron and Kawhi aren’t there by then
Ingram is pretty young. I think his ceiling is higher then Fultz. Kuzma is on a great contract for the next 3 years. I'm taking the Lakers deal.
It’s one of Popovich’s cardinal rules not to help Western Conference rivals, much less one with the tradition and resources of the Lakers.
Popovich almost never says a bad word about another team, but he went bonkers in 2008 when Memphis traded Pau Gasol to the post-Shaquille O’Neal Lakers, setting them up for three consecutive Finals runs and two titles.
“What they did in Memphis is beyond comprehension,” Popovich said at the time. “… I just wish I had been on a trade committee that oversees NBA trades. I’d like to elect myself to that committee. I would have voted no to the L.A. trade.”
Spurs would be spiting their face(whatever the saying is) cuz ingram, kuz & #25 is a good deal to me but pop probably aint tryin to do that for the lakers.
