Those buckets are more resilient than y’all giving them credit for.

Enjoy the movie, enjoy the bucket wash it and dry it thoroughly, then never do it again.

That being said, Shao’s mask did not need a bottom jaw.

That shit fucks it all up.

I think Willow is far enough out of the collective consciousness that they won’t make the connection, then again, Disneys legal team is some mfers.

2 hardest bucket drops

It was decent. It took itself a lil too seriously imo

The highlight was definitely Liu Kang vs. Kung Lao fight

Baraka was funny and unexpected

Johnny and Kano were good

They turned Shao Khan into Thanos... without the charm. wasn't really feeling that

Jade and Kitana could get it.... together

"Let's go get our friends back" did redeem the movie because Jax and Liu got done dirty

Cole....welp lol

3 out of 4 stars

Wish more of MK95 music was incorporated tho

Best video game trailer ever made

Was i the only one marking out at the stages from the games and how the camera shot the fight scenes like a game? Also the introduction credits using the classic SNES MK2 font?
Don’t forget in the Kitanna and Cage fight when she beats him, he stands back up wobbling like in the game, Kahn yells “Finish Him”, and then he wobbles n falls just like in the game when u don’t do a finishing move..

PRAISE: Earlier this week i was trying to explain and describe Mortal Kombat to a couple of family members that either never played the game or didn't know much about it. So watching a movie like this would have went over their heads especially with all of the fan service in the movie which wasn't a bad thing. This time around martial artist and actor Johnny Cage is recruited to join Earth's mightiest warriors in an interdimensional battle to save multiple worlds including Earth. Back to the fan service it was fun watching the characters use their various powers while facing off each other. As Johnny Cage Karl Urban, gets the best pop culture reference and salty one liners. Coming in as a close second is Kano (Josh Lawson). I enjoyed most of the brutal kills. The beginning of the story was pretty good as it focuses onKitana (Adeline Rudolph).

PROBLEMS: There's definitely a big dose of cheesiness throughout the movie. With odd looking stiff action sequences and an overuse of CGI during the fight scenes too. The characters deliver one liners with less energy than a 50 year old battery. I was half expecting a character to say the classic over used one liner That's gotta hurt !!

Scale of 1 to 10 a 7
