All I'm sayin...it not a sure thing bruh. ESPECIALLY when plenty of talents throughout pro-wrestling history have lost their final match. This isn't something new. The sole purpose is to put the talent you're facing over. This is something that's been done for DECADES.

Vet has last match. Vet loses. Vet is left in the ring receiving the love from the crowd. Some leave their wrestling boots in the middle of the ring to show they've hung them up for the last time. Vet walks to the back and receives love from everyone.

Cena gains nothing from winning. His legacy is already cemented. He doesn't need the win.

GUNTHER (if it is him) on the other hand...has the most to gain defeating Cena. Cena losing to him is Cena's way of passing the torch. Essentially telling the company "This is the guy".

But we'll see.
