I took my paternity leave, this not the 1950's where the dad did the bare minim in child raising. The mother not ready to take that responsibility for a few weeks so the dad need to be there.

First son I took a week. 2nd on i took 3. Did have to check one of my old coworkers when it got back to me that they made a comment calling it "weird". Made them feel stupid as fuck because they was on some "when my youngest was born, I was back in the office the same day. My wife told me it was ok". Told him "it ain't my fault your wife considers you unnecessary for raising your kids. There's nothing weird about wanting to parent your kids."
