1st in theaters solo, I was like mehhhh 6.5/10 type shit. Then I saw F4 and i was wow, this is unbelievably MID! I rewatched TB* maybe a week later with my fam after F4. I truly underappreciated how good TB* was. My fam enjoyed TB wayyy more than F4 and it low-key gave me Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 1 vibes all over again, especially with the F4 tie-in in the post-credits scene. GOTG vol.1, I had no clue about the characters, plot, or storylines with zero expectations...I was blown away it, a sleeper hit and MCU classic for me.

I really enjoyed TB after the 2nd watch. 8.5/10 relative to F4. I was so let down how boring and underdeveloped the script and movie as a whole.

I been telling people expectations is what essentially killed this phase. A lot of people been acting like most of the content was terrible when it really hasn't been. It's just not on the level of the content towards the Infinity Saga. There was always going to be a fall-off there because with movies like Infinity War and Endgame, we were getting the payoff from a decade of movie making. The reality is that over the course of that decade, the average quality of the movies probably wasn't that different than it is now.

Damn, I'm buggin...

Deadpool and Wolverine
Thunderbolts
Shang Chi
GOTG 3

That's more like it. For some reason I kept thinking Shang Chi was phase 3.

I just remember GOTG3 being very wholesome

Deadpool was funny as hell and I still remember bits and parts

I remember not liking Antman. Honestly don't remember the how I felt about the others

This movie was legit.

I actually don't have anything negative to say about it. Considering they pit a bunch of street level heroes against the most powerful character we've seen in the MCU so far, I'd say the way they handled it was great.

And if they give em Infinity War and Endgame movies, they'd bitch that there was no build up

Rewatched this yesterday afternoon; this shit was piff & criminally underrated.

Had they set up these characters better initially or they kept the adamantium aspect of the original plot this woulda put numbers on the board.
