like naw forreal....i've fully accepted the fact that i'm prolly just hating and being overly negative. I should support the film, respect the cultural attributes to it, praise it for the message, and should most likely just let niggaz have fun and enjoy themselves. the comic world benefits. coogler managed to really slip in some strong pro black sentiments in an unlikely film genre, and pulled off what all signs point to be a masterpiece in modern socially relevant black art on film. a strong part of me wants to just let the shit go and not make an issue out of it.




then there's that part of me that seems some over the top shit and be like.......

i think the lesson learned by this weekend is that attach the right kinda commercial backing... and niggaz will do anything....

all we need to do now is convince marvel to make the next black panther movie to be about lobbying local government, smart money management, and utilizing governments grants and loans.....and we might see some real change....
