Majority of the hits were from 50. Or 50 assisted. I remember in real time that Dipset had the streets more so than G Unit. A lot of corny cacs and dweebs latched on to G Unit.

you can say this for Dip set also. I seen it. Anyways, if we talking strictly music. 50 was a bigger star and song maker than Cam and made a better album at their peak.
Banks was a better rapper than Juelz.
Game/Buck were better than Jim Jones.
All that said, that Dip Set movement was crazy!

One could argue that when you have corny cacs & dweebs in ya movement, thats the final stage of globalization & fame. If its just the hood mainly rocking your stuff, its prob just a regional movement.

Juelz had a way more memorable run than Yayo ever did.
He didnt tho. Everyone was waiting for Juelz to really take off and he never did. All dude did was pump fake he was really gunna do something. He made some money and didnt wanna do work hard to do anything. Some designer cloths, chains & benz was enough for him.

Juelz was worse than Banks IMO. Banks tasted global super stardom and didnt like it that much, Juelz was crazy famous in NY/NE and acted like he reached the top.

Pretty sure Cam was going through what Jay was going through with Rocafella.

Everything you said about Juelz after your first sentence is true, but I’m talking about compared to Tony fucking Yayo. Dude dropped a weed plate and had a hot song with So Sudductive & that’s really it. At least Juelz was on some hits and showed the “I got next” potential across mixtapes, Dipset albums & his own singles. Yayo was just kinda there.

Juelz had those Rap City Basement freestyles. If you watch all those clips on YouTube he seemed larger than life.

Thoughts Of A Predicate Felon isn't a weed plate though, I'll take that album over Juelz's album

And everyone was waiting for him to do something big. Seems like his laziness and shit getting railroaded stopped it.

Cam n Mase saying his work ethic was bad

According to Cam this why his album with lil wayne aint drop.

This juelz response

Over From Me 2 U… meh I guess. Not over What The Game Is Missing tho.

The few solid songs on Yayo album don’t got shit to do with him as a rapper IMO.

guess it's a matter of preference

gunit has the best rappers out the bunch (banks buck game).... but dipset made more good music and had more range and tributaries

sales notwithstanding, they did a whole lot with infinitely less resources. they managed to squeeze somewhat of a hit out of un kasa and sheist bubz for christs sake. jim jones is dipsets equivalent of tony yayo... yayo couldn't and didn't produce a certified gangstas or ballin equivalent

im not a diplomats champion but what they pulled off was quite remarkable in retrospect lol

I'm gonna regret entertaining this but in what world is dipset on the same tier, let alone better than G-Unit? They don't better hits, the bigger star, bars, albums, etc...

G unit as a group at their prime was everywhere

Solo Wise

50 Cent legend breaking records

Game held down Westcoast many years

LLoyd Banks lyrical monster and punchline KING

Young Buck good rapper straight outa casvhille was hard , sad he didnt had good work ethic

Tony yayo a soldier, still part of classics.
