If America was attacked today, do you have a plan?

Been thinking about this myself, but the likelihood of it happening is pretty damned slim due to our geographic location unless it came from somewhere in this hemisphere.

I know what I lack if we gotta bug out real quick: shit to start a fire, water filtration supplies, tools to build a shelter if necessary, MRE's, maybe a bunch of small propane tanks and a gas hotplate.

But if it's an actual boots on the ground situation? I'd like to think I have enough armed people in my circle to put up enough of a resistance until the military made it to us.

Yeah, I had to laugh at that idea.

@Inori do you have any family that can work a boat? Do you have anyone with a boat big enough to not get folded up by the treacherous gulf stream? .Can anyone navigate? Fuck around and leave from jersey just to end up in NYC.

What is your Plan C? I need another laugh.
 
I always thought about making a bug out bag. I have half the stuff already since I go camping every year. I do need a water filter. Some wilderness books and a map would be useful. I would probably head to the mountains. Stay away from populated areas.
 
My plan is to watch and wait. I know people stocking up on water and food they believe will last them, first aid stuff, etc...but the same people are anti-gun. Or they are so out of shape they wouldn't make it if they had to walk a few miles.

You can have a plan, but as the OP pointed out, you truly don't know what kind of issue you are dealing with until it's here. You hope its something you prepared for, but when its bad enough, very few are ever prepared.
 
My plan is to pack light and get the fam to her gmas land. It's not the best shelter, but it's isolated. And I'm good at navigating thru woods

I dont have a plan C. Its either by plane or boat man lol tf you want me to say

I have some family and some friends that have boats, know how to navigate and all that 🤷🏽‍♂️

Pretty much. I keep a lotta that stuff in my house. Plus me and my friends grew up in the woods in our neighborhood like some Craig of the creek shit. The woods leads to a lotta places most people only know the actual roads too. I'm very sure we could get low and to her grandmother's without being seen by anybody other than folks who also know the woods.
