Lol aite so I saw this @StringerBell post

and it reminded me of a recent @Old Man Cain post so I figured Id make the thread.

Is it petty shit to tell folks "I told you so" or is it a valuable teachable moment? Do you have to be an asshole about it? Should you? lol what yall think?

I never say it. I hate the thought of saying it. Cuz it means I accepted the fact that I might be wrong for the betterment of the argument.

Cuz that means I was right, and argued against for it. And I understand nobody likes a smart ass... So it is likely something I didn't want to be right about to begin with.

#1. Leave me out of this mane.

#2. I didn't want to be right like @Duwop said because being right meant I tried to tell someone not to blindly or stupidity walk into a situation unprepared or ignorant to it. Now you're in a spot that will harm you and yours and I didn't want that to happen to you because I actually cared about you enough to tell you so.

#3. 我告訴過你 ☹️

Thing is. If you around smart people, they know you was right. Saying it is almost spiteful and gaslighting..

Just let it rock and show you care about their feelings being hurt cuz they was wrong

It depends. In this case, absolutely not. Whether or not we disagreed on key talking points, most of us on here knew a dark day was/is coming. The main ones that gotta get told that are Trump voters, and I'm not on speaking terms with anyone on that side to say it anyway. Most of it is out of anger and hurt, some of it out of humility and caring for their well being.
