this reminds me of American dad when Steve In the future had a jerk off robot

Then come to find out Steve jerks it off
 
I think when Tesla drops Optimus it will change society like the car did. Cooking, cleaning and all those daily chores is cool, but when you have a robot that can use AI LLMs to learn how to fix plumbing, do highly technical tasks it's a wrap.
 
but realistically, he's making good points......

like it might be worth it to wait a few years until they get better at the tech
 
if I was to have one of these I think I would mainly clean the toilet, empty the garbage can when it’s full, and empty out the tray for the litter box

And take the meat out the freezer

It would be a good house sitter for pets

I'm not saying that society should be consulting SciFi movies before moving in a certain direction. I do think it's crazy that we can all watch those movies and accept without any problem that certain societal decisions could lead to apocalypses and yet we make those decisions without any reservations.
 
mayne I'm not gone be impressed until the sex robots that looked like that one Megan Fox movie come out

once they start making the robots look like the full size real dolls then we'll see how long society will last at that point 🙁
