PRAISE: Based on the graphic novel by Richard McGuire,Director Robert Zemeckis and writer Eric Roth form a journey through time from one setting in the world that actually surprised me of how effective it was. Even as the movie dips in and out of different periods in time sometimes abruptly of the lives of d various characters that occupied the home setting of the movie,I did find myself becoming involved. The
Cast including: Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly, Michelle Dockery, Gwilym Lee, Ophelia Lovibond, and David Fynn do the most with the time given as the characters they portray go down different paths in life. Some putting away dreams when responsibility and stability are needed and necessary and some that don't. I liked that the movie touches on various climates,conditions and tragedies of the world and just life itself. Some that I've gone through on a personal level which made the movie very relatable at times. Also the fact that I wanted to see what was happening to certain characters with success and tough decisions that had to be made. The Music by Alan Silvestri was as effective as ever

PROBLEMS: Some portions of the movie had the vibe of the drawn out corniness of a twelve act stage play with some unfortunate cringe acting tied to it. I thought that some moments were to on the nose predictable.
