They don't get put in jail initially, at least here.

They will be held in contempt and after a few times of being in contempt, I believe they can be arrested

Yeah here in WI if you keep a child away more then 12 hours outside of what the order states you will be held in contempt and arrested.

Can you link to any examples of this? You have a lot to say about dude so you must have a clip or link to something he's done that would give you this impression of him.

Don't do that. When you have a child together and a parent gets a restraining order it's considered emergency and a decision needs to be made if the parents can't mediate the situation.

Now again I know it can be different depending on the state, but where I live even with a restraining order the soonest a custody hearing date would be set is 14 days. I never seen this kind of turn around...
